📋 Description
Applications
CNC machining produces parts with excellent mechanical properties, accuracy and repeatability from metal and plastic. 3-axis & 5-axis CNC milling available.
Strengths
Excellent mechanical properties, High accuracy & repeatability
Weaknesses
Greater geometry restrictions than 3D printing
⚙️ Characteristics

Faster parts through local sourcing
Titanium work is placed with partners who run it regularly, because the difference between a shop that machines it weekly and one that does so occasionally shows up in tool cost and surface finish.
Available materials

Titanium Grade 5 | 3.7164 | Ti6Al4V
Stronger than Grade 2, equally corrosion-resistant, and excellent bio-compatibility.

Titanium Grade 2 | 3.7035
Stronger than Grade 1 and equally corrosion-resistant, excellent bio-compatibility.

Titanium Grade 1 | 3.7025
Grade 1 is the softest and most formable commercially pure titanium, and the most corrosion-resistant of the three. It welds readily.
Titanium CNC machining
Titanium earns its cost in a narrow set of cases: when mass is the constraint, when the environment would eat steel, or when the part goes inside a body. Outside those, aluminium or stainless is usually the better engineering answer and always the cheaper one.
Custom Titanium parts
We machine custom titanium parts in Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 5 — the three that cover most of what buyers actually order. Titanium resists corrosion, takes heat, and carries load for its weight, which is why it turns up wherever mass matters and failure is expensive. The partner network runs both milling and turning centres, from simple as-machined brackets through to contoured five-axis work. Finishing is quoted with the part rather than after it, so an anodised or bead-blasted component comes back finished.
Titanium CNC machining services
Titanium asks more of a machine shop than steel or aluminium does. It work-hardens under a dull edge and holds heat at the cutting zone, so tool selection, feed rates and coolant matter more than they do on most metals — get them wrong and you pay for it in tool life and surface finish. Our audited partners run titanium regularly, at prototype quantities and at production volume, and every lot ships with material certificates. Send a drawing or a CAD file and an engineer reviews it personally before it is quoted.
